The Living Portrait from Photos (Online); Mondays, April 21-May 12, 2025
The first session of this workshop filled super fast - which was gratifying! - and it left a lot of people on the waitlist. I’m happy to be offering it again in April and hope you will join me.
In this workshop, you’ll learn to paint loose portraits full of color and energy. I don’t enjoy a portrait that looks like a coloured photograph, and the thrust of my instructions is about how to create proportional, lively portraits that transcend their photo references. We will not paint every wrinkle or eyelash and thank goodness for that!
