Laughed out loud with: "If only I could remember how I did it 😳." I've had that perception many times when things just happen to go right!

Thanks for taking us through your process. Motivates me to explore using Procreate more. You can bet that Degas, Sorolla and others would have been all over these tools!

Yes, sometimes all the stars align and my brushes seem to have their own intelligence. If only that happened every day!

I suspect you're right: artists have always explored new tools and they'd have had fun with everything that we have access to now. We live in creative times!

So glad I’m not alone in “how the heck did I do that?”

Beautiful work!

This really resonated with me because I felt the same about a painting. I had done about 10 years ago. But maybe that’s part of the magic? Something inexplicable & uncatchable, like a muse, might have guided us.

Yes, some paintings just fall off the brush in a wonderful dream of activity. I've got some of those and they always intrigue me. It does feel like the muse at work:)

I couldn’t be happier that you shared the process behind this piece. I fell in love with it when I saw it on your Instagram, along with the others you’ve created in a similar style. Thank you so much for giving us a closer look and sharing about the process.

Thanks, Michael! I'm so pleased that these pieces resonate with you. I'm enjoying making them and can't wait for my apple trees to blossom so that I can paint them from life!

Aren’t new blooms the best!? Looking forward to seeing it!
